I would love to attend

we could sit back

and enjoy the icing

skip the chit chat

I don't care who likes who

we don't have proms to go to

I don't care which house wins

at football or

hundred-meter sprints

high school chitter chatter

does it really matter

when we can see the end

from the beginning

if we stand on our desks

like disobedient pesks.
