Kingfisher spotting

I watched from

the comfort of home.

Blue metal

light as feathers

rustle and shimmer -

hidden in forgotten plots.

A good omen!

How wrong mother was.

We lost home.

The land was ate.

I stopped playing at

Kingfisher spotting.
